This is a quick post outlining how to correct the error within UCS CIMC stating that the Virtual Media device is disabled or in use.

The error that will display upon attempting to mount the media is listed below.

Either the Virtual Media device is disabled or Virtual Media redirection for the select virtual disk drive is already in use by another user.

To correct this issue, access the CIMC web page and browse to Server -> Remove Presence -> Virtual Media and enable the Virtual Media Properties.

With that item saved, you are now able to mount the media without errors.
